244 Quadrant and Spacer
Quadrant and Spacer for external 'stand off' fixing wire mesh Radiator Frames.
I can never understand why Singer, who were producing cars which were widely used for trials purposes, decided to discontinue the use of the quickly detachable front Radiator Wire Frame. Earlier cars fitted with a detachable frame can simply undo 4 Dome Nuts to remove the wire and hose down the Radiator Core. Item 244A goes behind the rolled edge of the Radiator Frame and a 1/4" BSF Bolt is fed through the back and screwed into 244B which is on the outside. This Bold extends outwards to allow the Radiator Frame to pushed over it and finished off with 4 Dome Nuts. The Bolts are held captive when the Radiator Surround is removed so they can't be lost.
