214 Brass for 4 Seater Hood Front Bow

This brass trim comes in two curves to suit the Wooden Hood Frame Bow (our item 213).  After the Duck canvas has been nailed to the Hood Bow, the whole front is then cleaned up by this strip which is screwed onto the Ash.  This piece is always chrome plated and lips over the Windscreen to deflect water off the Hood over the front of it.  With the 1935 - 37 models, it will be necessary to file away some clearances for the tandem Windscreen Wiper Spindles.  For the 1933 - 34 models, this is not required as the Wiper Blade is mounted on the bottom rail of the Windscreen.

213 4 Seater 

This wooden product is made from Ash and is sawn from a 3' plank.  It is approximately 3' long and recessed on the underside where the Hood Frame is attached.  These come in two different curvatures with the flatter curve fitting best to the earlier 1933 - 34 cars and the more curved one being suited to the 1935 - 37 models.
