95  Crown Wheel and Pinion

These precision made components are mated and lapped in matched pairs and are uniquely numbered to prove their pairing.  Two components of the same design and manufacturer must always be stamped after lappig.  Never buy or fit an un-matched pair.

95A  Crown Wheel & Pinion 9 LM 39x7 = 5.57:1  39 teeth on Crown Wheel and 7 on the Pinion as traditionally fitted by Singer for all Singers 1933 - 1937 and OK for general purpose and hilly conditions.

95A1  Crown Wheel & Pinion Crown Wheel & Pinion 9 LM 37x9 

95A2  Crown Wheel & Pinion Crown Wheel & Pinion 9 LM 40x9

95AA  Crown Wheel & Pinion 9 LM 39x8 = 4.8:1  39 teeth on Crown Wheel and 8 on the Pinion - OK for general purpose flat conditions and slightly higher speed for motorway use.

95B  Crown Wheel & Pinion 1.5 Ltr only - larger. Originally 4.44:1 but now 4.22:1 which is better for motorways and modern driving conditions.  This item is cut with a Klingelnberg tooth form (not module) and will fit straigt into a 1 1/2Ltr Differential to give a very quiet and smooth running experience.
