This is a cast aluminium Plate which can be polished and only needs two holes drilling in it.

If you intend to make a feature of the car interior, this part adds considerably to the appearance.  It is thickened in the middle and relieved underneath to fit snugly on the Bell Housing.  It also has the lettering 'Singer and Co. Ltd. - Coventry - England cast in raised letters.
