All of our remanufactured Sumps are cast in Aluminium and supplied fully machined with Stud holes to fix to the Block, flatted off on the top face, and drilled and tapped for the Drain Plug.  

Item 13A This is the Taper front type is for the earlier 1934 / 35 cars with an 'over Axle' Chassis  (Chassis over rear Axle) with the Steering Arm connected to the passenger side.  These are the finned type fitted to all Special Speed Le Mans Engines and replace the pressed steel one as was fitted to 9HP Saloons to bring your oil capacity a considerable increase due to the additional width of this Sump.  

Item 13B  These are the Square front Sumps are for the later 1936/37 cars with the Chassis 'underslung' under the rear Axle and with the Steering linkage on the driver's side. These are cast in Aluminium and supplied fully machined with Stud holes to fix to the Block, flatted off on the top face, and drilled and tapped for the Drain Plug.  These are the finned type fitted to all Special Speed Le Mans Engines and replace the pressed steel one as was fitted to 9HP Saloons to bring your oil capacity a considerable increase due to the additional width of this Sump.  

Item 13C This item is suitable for the 1.5 Ltr, 14HP, & 2 Ltr cars and these Sumps are cast in Aluminium and supplied fully machined with Stud holes to fix to the Block, flatted off on the top face, and drilled and tapped for the Drain Plug.  These are also finned type to bring your oil capacity a considerable increase due to the additional width of this Sump.  

13D This is the Gauze Panel to be fitted into our item 13C which is the 1.5Ltr Sump.  You need to order this item separately if purchasing a new Sump or it can be ordered on its own as a separate item.

13E This is the Brass Drain Plug which has a standard thread suitable for all Sumps either remanufactured by us or original.  Please let us know if you want a plain Plug or if you require one with a Oil Temperature Gauge take off.
